Police ID drivers involved in crash near State Line Drive

EL PASO, TX – El Paso Police released more details about the Christmas Eve crash that happened near State Line Drive. 

The collision happened around 5 p.m. on Saturday near the Texas and New Mexico state line near the Edge of Texas Steakhouse and Saloon, KTSM reported. 

One driver drove over Gateway South Boulevard and did not stop, which caused him to crash with another driver also traveling on Gateway South. 

The second car rolled over. 

The driver of the first vehicle was identified as 35-year-old Kenneth Jones.

Police identified the driver of the second vehicle as 78-year-old Suzano Carrillo. 

No injuries were reported for Jones, and there has been no indication of citations. 

Carillo was hospitalized for severe injuries.
