One hurt in multi-vehicle wreck involving patrol car on I-10 in east El Paso

EL PASO, TX — One person was hospitalized early Friday after a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 in east El Paso’s Ranchland West area, reports CBS4Local.

The accident occurred on the eastbound lanes at Viscount Boulevard, at about 3:00 a.m.

Details are limited, but El Paso Police Department said three vehicles, including a police car, were involved.

One person suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

The left two eastbound lanes were shut down during the emergency response. Shortly before 5:30 a.m., the scene had cleared and all lanes were reopened to traffic.

At this time, no further updates have been released.
