One hospitalized after rollover truck crash in far east El Paso

EL PASO, TX — One person was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon when a concrete mixer truck overturned in far east El Paso, reports KVIA.

The accident happened on Gateway Boulevard East at Joe Battle Boulevard. It was first reported by KVIA at 4:28 p.m.

Officials did not say what led up to the wreck, but El Paso Fire crews rushed one patient to a local hospital.

A ramp in the area was shut down during the emergency response.

It was unclear whether another vehicle was involved or whether the injured person was the driver.

No further updates have been shared at this time.
