Major tractor-trailer crash shuts down I-20 in west Odessa

ODESSA, TX – Emergency crews were called to the scene to a fiery crash involving a semi-truck on I-20 in west Odessa today.

According to KOSA, the crash occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the freeway near the exit to FM-1936.

Witnesses reported seeing a semi-truck and at least two other vehicles on fire at the scene. It is unclear at this time if anyone was hurt as a result.

The freeway was blocked for some time following the incident while crews worked to clear the scene.
