EPPD responds to truck wreck on I-10 EB near NW El Paso
EL PASO, TX — A truck accident Wednesday morning caused a major traffic backup on Interstate 10 near El Paso’s Three Hills neighborhood, according to Diana Gomez, KFOX14 traffic reporter.
The collision occurred on the eastbound lanes at Redd Road. It was first reported by KFOX14 at 7:13 a.m.
Details are limited at this time, but authorities said a cement truck appears to have been involved.
Commuters were told to expect delays in the area.
By 7:25 a.m., the scene had been cleared from the roadway, with traffic flow returning to normal.
Drivers, there’s a crash on I-10 east at Redd, causing major backup. I spoke with @eppolicetraffic dispatchers and they tell me it appears a cement truck is involved. Expect delay if heading in this direction.
