EPPD responds to accident on Joe Battle Blvd near east El Paso

EL PASO, TX — A vehicle collision was reported early Friday afternoon on Joe Battle Boulevard near east El Paso’s Saint Vitus neighborhood, according to City of El Paso.

The crash happened on the southbound lanes before eastbound Vista Del Sol Drive. It was first reported by the city’s public alert system at 12:16 p.m.

It was unclear what led up to the wreck, but 1:00 p.m., El Paso Police remained at the scene.

As of this writing, authorities have not confirmed any serious injuries.
