Crews respond to vehicle fire in NW El Paso parking lot

EL PASO, TX — A vehicle caught fire early Monday morning in the parking lot of a northwest El Paso shopping center, according to CBS4Local.

The incident occurred off the intersection of North Mesa Street and Sunland Park Drive, near Starbucks.

No details regarding the cause of the fire have been shared at this time, but El Paso Fire crews responded to the scene and were able to extinguish the flames.

Photos taken at the site show what appears to be an SUV fully engulfed in the blaze.

Officials said no injuries were reported in the event.

An investigation was underway.
