Crash shuts down bridge at FM-1788 and SH-191 in west Midland

MIDLAND, TX — A two-vehicle accident was reported early Tuesday evening on Texas Highway 191 in west Midland, according to CBS7.

The collision occurred on a span of the highway over Farm to Market Road 1788, west of Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center. It was first reported by CBS7 at 5:57 p.m.

Little information has been provided at this time, but City of Midland officials said the overpass was closed as a result of the wreck.

It remains unclear at this time whether anyone was injured.
