Accident closes lane on I-10 at Executive Center Blvd in NW El Paso
EL PASO, TX — A crash Wednesday morning blocked a left lane and shoulder on Interstate 10 near Smeltertown Cemetery in northwest El Paso, according to Diana Gomez, KFOX14 traffic reporter.
The collision occurred on the westbound lanes at Exit 16 to Executive Center Boulevard. It was first reported by KFOX14 at 7:56 a.m.
It was unclear what caused the wreck, but a photo taken at the scene shows at least two fire trucks and a police cruiser responding.
Commuters were told to expect long delays in the area.
