74-year-old man killed in wrong-way crash on I-20
HOWARD CO., TX – A man was killed when his vehicle was struck by a wrong-way driver in Howard County earlier this month.
According to Nexstar, the collision occurred at about 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8th along the I-20 service road.
Troopers say 47-year-old Juan Moran was heading the wrong direction on the roadway when his vehicle slammed head-on into a car driven by 74-year-old Dickie Lee Jones.
Jones was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Moran was taken to a local hospital and has since been released. It is unclear if he will face any charges in connection to the deadly crash.
