1 injured as semi overturns on I-10 WB in central El Paso
EL PASO, TX — One person was hospitalized early Wednesday after a semi-truck overturned on Interstate 10 near El Paso’s Lincoln Park area, reports KFOX14.
The accident happened on the westbound lanes near Exit 23A to Raynolds Street at about 1:30 a.m.
No details on the cause of the crash have been shared, but officials said the semi had rolled onto its side. Damage to the cement barrier was also observed at the scene.
One victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
Two left lanes on the eastbound interstate were shut down due to the barrier damage.
